Bonzai is a rock band based in Thessaloniki, which was created as an idea in 2015, but really took off with their first live performance in 2018. Their first album, titled “Seeds to Roots”, was released in 2019 and received great reviews both in Greece and abroad. With a sound influenced by heavy rock, and psychedelic grunge, they performed a Greek tour in the summer and autumn of the same year.
In May 2022, they release the single “Hit the Sky”, and the following month they release “Cyberdog”. Two tracks that will be included in their upcoming album which is expected to be released in 2024. Some of the notable moments of Bonzai, the live shows with: Brant Bjork, Sasquatch, Elder as well as the participation in Los Almiros in 2019, in the 11th Street Mode Festival in the same year in the Long Beach Festival in the summer of 2020 and the participation in the Street Mode Live Sessions in 2022.
